This listing is for a used alpha 8410 hf linear amplifier. I was using this amplifier one day, the next it would not put out any watts in the operate position. it does pass watts through in the stand by position. talked to alpha and we have determined that the screen supply has a short in it. so, listing it for parts not working. I have taken pictures of the inside that is pristine without signs of heat or dust. immaculately clean. the outside is very nice too. a little dust on the knobs that I didn\'t notice until I took the pictures. notice the pictures are of the amplifier the gain, hv, ip are in different positions. I shorted the relay line and the relays are clicking. This unit uses the vtx-x118 tubes. I purchased this amplifier to use myself. it was working just fine and I only would run it with about 25 watts of drive. worked one day went to use it the next and no output. this is a beautiful amplifier inside and out. I just cannot afford to get it shipped and repaired. I have post concussion syndrome so I have no business trying to do this myself.
