This is an excellent performing antenna and was used for reception only, so I cannot comment on its transmitting capabilities. This antenna was installed at the top of my fence for concealment and out-performed all other antennas I have used. Nearly every station (SWL) I had logged in the past year was 2 to 5 times the previous S-meter reading!!! Most station giving 10 over S9 before were now coming in at 30 to 40 over S9 and that is with the antenna mounted only 6.5 feet from the ground.
