The table measures:

12 inches wide

8 inches deep

Just over 9 inches high

The chairs measure:

6 inches from floor to seat

12 inches from floor to top of the chair back

6 1/2 incheswidth and depth

The furniture is very sturdy that is made with traditional mortise and tenon joints instead of with nails. All the pieces are also glued together.

There is a sliding top in the table-top that opens to reveal that the table-top is hollow where the family could hide valuables.

The carvings along the outside edges of the table top are supposed to represent cornstalks. It looks very hand tooled and authentic. There are also some carvings down each table leg.

The chairs have hammer indentations on the seat, very similarly hand carved cornstalk images on the back, and the same mortise and tenon construction.

The set has minimal wear (MINIMAL SCRATCHES) and in excellent used condition.
