This amplifier was sent back to Ameritron under warrantyearly this year. After testing it when it came back it had the same problem and was sent this time without warranty. Ameritron say they fixed it (I have the receipt) It has cost a small fortune and I have had it with this amplifier. My loss is your gain. It has new tubes, the high voltage(B+) is just fine, it put out about 750 watts PEP on all band but I do not believe Ameritron makes amplifiers that will last at full output. I am selling this for parts, but it is in very good condition,.If you know amplifiers this is for you. The next thing that fails I am told is the zener diode and it is a pain to replace. Again, this is for parts but all of the parts are there and they are in great shape. I guess you can call this a tech special. It will come in the originalfactory double boxes (box label shown).
