AMI 50\'s Jukebox Amplifier Model CC 6L6G Tube Audio Harp Guitar Amp:
$195.00

Up for sale is a vintage AMI Jukebox Amplifier, Model CC from the 50\'s. I\'ve heard someone play a harmonica through one of these once and it was outstanding! This amp takes 6 tubes and SOME of the tubes are included (all good)..... 1) 6SN7GT
1) 6SA7
1) 6N7 What you\'ll need to complete the set is..... 2) 6L6G
1) 5U4G On the top of the chassis there is a 7-screw terminal strip for volume control, Output to AUX. Amplifier and Input from Master Amplifier, a 7-screw speaker output terminal strip, a small 2-prong input pickup socket and an adjustment knob for Record Condition (Badly Worn, Normal, or New). We brought this amp up slowly using a variac with tubes borrowed from one of my other amps. It powers up fine, all of the tubes light up and all of the transformers stayed nice and cool during the testing but we couldn\'t get any sound from it. I don\'t have a schematic and I may not be completing a connection properly. So I can warrant the power transformer is good and the amp may very well work as it is but it more likely will need some work done to bring it back to its full potential and is otherwise sold as is for parts or restoration. The chassis is in really good shape for its age too, with just some very minor slight surface rust as you can see in the pictures. There is no bottom plate or top cover for it. A great amp for your collection or restoration project with wonderful potential! It measures approximately 18\" x 9 1/2\" x 5 1/4\" at its highest point) and pretty hefty weighing in at about 24 lbs. unpacked. All tube amplifiers are brought up to full power slowly with a variac to avoid damage and to reform the capacitors. Although I test them to the best of my ability, I am not an expert! When purchasing vintage items you should expect that some may need work and remember that the warranty ran out on our items decades ago! By offerding on my sales YOU AGREE THAT... YOU ARE BUYING THIS ITEM AS IS AS SHOWN FOR PARTS AND RESTORATION with NO GUARANTEES EXPRESSED, GIVEN OR IMPLIED AND NO RETURNS ACCEPTED FOR ANY REASON AT ANY TIME WITHOUT EXCEPTION. Payment is appreciated within 3 days of receiving my invoice. I do combine sales whenever possible to save you shipping costs. If you have zero, negative, or less than 10 response ratings please e-mail me BEFORE offerding or your offer will be removed and you\'ll be blocked from future offerding. Please look at my other sales for some very unique amplifier and vintage electronics! Thank-you for looking!
