This is a very rare, 15 luk Old Bugis Keris from Celebes/Sulawesi. (Indonesia).
Sulawesi is a large island in Indonesia. In the old days the Bugis Tribes lived on the south part of the Island. This is a very rare Keris from Celebes (Indonesia). This old Keris has the dapor 15 luk, what is very are as normally 13 luk is the most.
This Keirs is forged in this Keris by an Empu (Keris smith). This type of Kerisses is very rare and difficult to find. Special about this Keris is the nice Blade (details) in combination 15 luk, the good Pamor and the very beautiful clothing (Hilt and scabbard). The keris has a very nice and clear pamor on the blade (see detailed pictures). This type of pamor is very rare and considered to be very strong and magival. A Keris with this rare pamor is considered to give protection to his owner.
The pamor is hard to get on a picture. Off course in real vision the pamor is more nice. (see the pictures).
br>This Keris has beautiful wooden scabbard in typicsl Bugis style and a very beautiful Handle with silver selut. The shape of the scabbard and handle is typical for Bugis Keris from ancient Celebes.
The combination of the mentioned specifications makes this a very nice Keris.The kerisblade of this Keris is +/- 35 cm and the total length of this keris in the scabbard is 49 cm.
