It sounds great when I play it but I must admit I know nothing at all about antique instruments but this is an authentic antique and fresh to the market, not from a collection. Anyone can see how beautiful it is, with the Art Nouveau designs in gold on black, the buttons, and brass. It all appears to be in great shape to me. Measures 10 1/2 inches wide, 9 1/2 inches high, and 5 inches deep when closed.
