This is an spectacular antique World War I Belgian medal.It is made of massive bronze. It has got a superb detailed work in both sides.
Obverse design : Female personification with opened wings holding a sword in her right hand. In the right background four soldiers standing with the Swiss flag. It is signed by PAUL DUBOIS.Reverse design:Different shields and obverse text : \"LA GRANDE GUERRE POUR LA CIVILISATION\".
Medal measures 3.60 cm (1.40\'\')diameter. A great item for a great Collection !!!
It is in excellent condition considering its age.
