This is an antique 1920s ART DECO ice or champagne bucket. It measures 12 inches in height, approx. 7 inches in diameter. There is a patent date on the cover of 1927 and a patent date on the base of 1910, it is all original. I could not find a makers name on it but it is definitely made by one of the superb Art Deco makers. It is either American made or possibly German or Austrian. It has a clean original finish which i believe is silverplate but it might be polished metal or chrome. The bakelite on the finial and legs is an apple green. It still has the original mercury glass interior liner, which is a little loose inside, some of the cork that kept it in position has come loose. One exactly like it sold recently at sale for $1300 and that is the only other one i could find.

If you have any special instruction regarding boxing please email them to us directly after the sale ends.I ship most domestic medium and larger items out thru fedex ground, smaller items i usually send out priority mail thru the post office. International packages i will only ship out by USPS priority express mail internationalwhich usually takes around 7 days delivery time. Larger international boxes that are too big for our post office i will send out fedex economy international, but please email us for a shipping cost before offerding.I do allow for pick up on certain items that are too fragile or too big to ship. For larger pieces such as furniture that are too big for normal shippers it would have to go by blanket-wrap freight shippers at the buyers expense. There are a couple of companies i can recommened who both have websites with price-quote pages that are easy to fill out.
