Offered for sale is a 1925 John Deere Spoker D tractor serial # 35542. It is a 2 cylinder club certified \"Spoker D\" with 24\" flywheel. It was built in 1925 and is officially considered to be a 1926. The PTO is original to the tractor. This is one of if not the first tractors that John Deere made with a PTO. The tractor is on parade rubber but comes with the original rear lugs and front steering bands.
The tractor has been overhauled and has the correct DX304 carb and Splittdorf magneto. It starts and runs well. The transmission and PTO operate properly. Good shiny paint. All the sheet metal except the hood is original. Yes the sheet metal has some dimples and dings because it is original. The gas tank is original as well. Really a nice all correct \"Spoker D\" that is fun to parade or restore it to \"EXPO\" quality and put it on display in a collection. We hauled this to county fairs and allowed people to sit on it and I will include the custom steps if requested ( pictured ).

I lowered the reserve. The reserve is $12,499. Here is your chance to own one of the first tractors made by John Deere at a realistic price. It is complete and correct including the mag and carb. Original sheet metal and original gas tank. Starts and runs out nice. It is on parade rubber but will come with the front bands and rear lugs as well.
