Antique 23” Composition andCloth Mama Doll Marked Fiberoid – A Really Cute Doll!
Thissale is for a really cute composition and cloth body mama doll made by theFiberoid Doll Company.
Sheis 23” tall with a composition shoulder plate and composition arms and straightlegs on a cloth body. She has blue tinsleep eyes that work well, painted upper and lower lashes and it looks like hereyelashes are pretty well intact. Shehas an open mouth with four upper teeth and a tongue. Her crier is mute.
Hercomposition is in overall good condition but there is some very fine crazingyou can see when you look at her closely and a little cracking. There has been a repair to the compo on theunderside of the fingers on her right hand and on the inside of her left foot;there is a small piece of paint missing on the inside of her right leg. I can’t see her cloth body as her onesie issewn onto her but it is stuffed very firmly.
Theback of her shoulder plate is marker Fiberoid.
Sheis wearing a vintage blue and white dress with white trim and shoes. She is also wearing a vintage onesie that hasbeen sewn onto the doll. Her wig isshort and curly and is a dark reddish brown.It could benefit from some additional styling!
Shehas been living in a non-smoking home for a lot of years and there are no foulodors.
