Antique American violin by Jas. A. Fuller 1904 Strad Model Dubuque, Ia.No, 3:
$806.00

This is an absolutely gorgeous American violin. It retains it original label\"Jas. A. Fuller Maker 1904, Strad. Model, Dubuque, Ia. No. 3. Jas. A. Fuller is listed in all the violin books with positive remarks. He was self-taught. He moved to Davenport, Ia. in 1908 where he made violins and did repair work until 1926.He was helped by his son Jewell Fuller, andeither retired or passed away in 1926. Jewell carried on after that. This violin has abeautiful bird\'s eye maple back, andsides with a bold curly mapleneck, and excellent scroll. The fine grain sitcasprucetop along with the rest of the violinare all crack free with the original finish. This violin although one hundred and ten years old is like a time capsule. It is fully lined and blocked at all corners. Thefine fuller bridge complimentsthe excellentneck angle. The original ebony fittings are all in excellent condition. The purfling is well inlaid, the f-holes beautifully cut. All of this is exceeded only by the tone of this violin. It projects well with plenty of volume. The neck is comfortable, and makes this violin easy to play. This violin will be a wonderful addition to any collection, and would be recommended for any player. The photos tell the story, but they do not completely show the beauty of this instrument.

offer with confidence. Shipping is free within the 48 states. If for any reason you are not satisfied with this violin you may return it for a full refund of thepurchase price minus my original shipping and insurance fee. If returned with insurance,it must be received in the same condition as when shipped by me. There will also be atwenty five($25) dollar restocking fee. I have not had this violin set up. I am a collector, with limited playing skills. I have owned this violin for over ten years, and consider it one of my finest American instruments. You will not be disappointed. It will be shipped without a case, but it will be double boxed for safety, and padded well for protection over the bridge area. The sound post is up, but sometimes shipping will cause it to fall due to loose strings and bridge removal. This should not happen, but itis an easy fix. Thanks for looking, and offerding on this fine violin.
