Offered as a Buy It Now is this beautiful Antique Black Forest Cuckoo Quail clock circa 1905. The clock is in excellent running condition. The cast brass 30 hour movement has been cleaned and serviced. The 3 bellows/pipes have been recovered in leather and new paper and sound great. The wood carvings are in excellent shape with no repairs that I can see. The 2 finials at the bottom of the case are new replacements. The top crest was carved by dogrottencars so it is not original to the clock. I had to replace the old chains with new brass chains so they appear a bit bright but will tone down with age. The bone hands are replacements and look great with the original dial and nailed on numerals. The 6 1/2 inch dial shows some warping from age but otherwise is in good shape. The clock is about 23 inches high and about 16 1/2 inches wide. Please look at the pictures and ask questions BEFORE you purchase. The clock is being sold AS IS and with NO RETURNS.
