This is a very fine Antique Brass Candle Snuffer or Wick Scissors, c. 19th Century. These wick scissors or wick trimmers or candle snuffers were a staple in the early American home when candles were the main lighting source. They were utilized to put out the flame as well as to trim the wick and clean the candle. I offer this very fine pair with a "Buy It Now".

DIMENSIONS: The scissors are 1 3/8" H. x 6" L..

CONDITION: The candle snuffer is in very good condition with some scratching and bending to the brass but minimal wear and no damage at all.
