Antique CONLEY 5x7 VIEW CAMERA w/ WOLLENSAK LENS:
$153

This is an antique Conley 5x7 view camera with a Wollensak lens and Conley Safety shutter. If you ever wanted to explore large format beyond 4x5, this could be a great way to start.

Although this camera's leather covering is in rough condition, the camera is otherwise solid and in working condition. (Leather covering can also be replaced if desired)
The camera's nickel and brass is in Very Good attractive condition with light scratches and pitting.

Careful inspection of this camera has found the lens to travel and focus smoothly. The lens can also shift to the right or left, as well as raise or lower. The bellows does not appear to have any holes or damage. What is most useful is the bellows being able to extend over 1 foot, and focus as close as 8 inches!

The lens is a Wollensak Rapid Orthographic f/8. It is clear, and free of scratches or mold. (Lens openings range from f/8 to f/256) The shutter operates consistently and seems accurate. ( Speed range is 1, 1/2, 1/5, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100 and T&B)

Also featured on this camera are dual bubble-levels, tripod mount, a focus scale of 6-100 feet and a viewfinder.

I'll be happy to help answer any questions that you might have. Thanks for looking!

NOTE: There are a few other features that I forgot to include... First, the lens board is removable. Also, the folding bed can be dropped to a lower angle. Lastly, the camera back rotates, and can be oriented vertically or horizontally.
