~A simply STUNNING (AND SUPERB QUALITY) antique Black Forest wall cabinet, quite unique & unlike anything we’ve seen before~

~Just look at the carving, again, the quality is outstanding, from the very top of the huge crown to the very bottom with the fancy open carved trim below the glass door.~

~ALL the beveled edges are carved and look at the carvings on the inside edges of the dome shaped glass opening~
~Triple moulding on the top~
~THE GIANT FULL LENGTH DIMENSOINAL CARVING that flanks the door is truly the pièce de résistance ~

~SOLID OAK, VERY HEAVY and strong, well built by craftsmen of the period~

Condition:

This cabinet is in good condition for its age, with normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches, and other imperfections. Key included, lock works but it’s NOT guaranteed, as they are finicky at best. Lock isn\'t as old as the wood cabinet, it was probably added when the mirror inside was added; hinges are replacements (and good to hold the heavy door for another 100 years!); likewise glass is probably replaced over the years. Buyer could add small shelves if they desired. The light IS NOT adapted for U S Standards. Right top back corner chipped. I always provide multiple photos that should be considered as an integral part of the description and I encourage you to email me with any questions you might have prior to offerding. Please keep in mind antique furniture should be purchased for its uniqueness, higher quality material and craftsmanship and antique patina, charm and character….NOT for like-new condition!!!
