ANTIQUE CARVED & TURNED PENNY KNIFE WITH TWIN PIPES STAMP, c. 1800\'S, 3 5/8\" KNIFE, with flat ground clip blade, with some edge loss due to sharpening and use and some medium pitting on the back. The stamp appears to be \"twin pipes.\" The blade is a little less than full, perhaps as much as 3/8.\" Top round steel bolsters, with some light pitting. Round brown wood handle, nicely scalloped, multi-grooved. This appears to be an early knife, perhaps 18th century or a little later.

PRISTINE: Knife is mint. In addition, itsells itself in a powerful way.
MINT: Knife is the same as it was when it was produced. May have a minor crack in a handle, or afreckle on the blade, but absolutely no evidence of use or sharpening.
NEARMINT: Knife is nearly mint. Any deviation from mint is minor. If the knife has been expertly cleaned, itmust appear as mint, full blades, no evidence of sharpening or use.
EXCELLENT: Knife is in excellentcondition. Handles are in fineshape. Blades snap strong. Blades show only slight wear, ordiscoloration. Unless otherwise statedblades and handles are original.
VERYGOOD: Knife is invery good condition. Blades may show upto 10% wear. Blades are original (unlessotherwise stated), but may not snap.Handles are original (unless otherwise stated) but may show damage. Blades or back springs may be pitted.
PLUS ORMINUS (+ OR -): This may be used to describe a knife that may fallbetween the above categories.

Most items shipped within the U.S. are shipped viaUSPS priority mail. Some larger itemsmay be shipped first class mail, or through a different shipper. We will use flat rate boxes if possible. We round up to the nearest dollar on ourshipping costs. Your item(s) will be well packaged.

INSURANCE:
All Priority Mail items are automatically insuredfor $50.00. If you want more coverageplease let us know immediately after conclusion of the sale and before youpay. We will work together to determinethe appropriate insurance and shipping cost.
If you wish to have extra services added to yourshipment such as signature confirmation, extra insurance, etc., you will be chargedat actual cost.
SHIPPING TIME:
Items will be shipped within two business daysafter payment is received. In most casesthe items will be shipping on the same or next day that the sale is over, orin the sale closes on a week-end, the next business day following theweek-end. If the sale concludes on aholiday, it will be shipped on the next business day.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
We will ship internationally. Theminimum rate for First Class International Shipping will be $35.00. If the package is larger than a smallpackage, the rate will be increased accordingly. Please take this into consideration whenofferding.
ALL foreign shipments will be shipped via USPS First Class InternationalMail.
Custom forms will state exactly what is in the box and the value. We are not responsible for any costs orcustom fees associated with shipments outside the United States.
