J&E STEVENS COMPANY was known primarily for their toy cast iron banks. This piece is in \"as found\" condition as shown in photos. There is surface rust as would be expected from a piece this old as shown in photos. THIS TOY GUN WAS DESIGNED TO HAVE NO MOVING PARTS AND NONE CAN BE MADE TO MOVE. One would place a firecracker in the barrel end, then light fuse. There is paint loss as shown in photos. This is an extremely rare piece and an unbelievable estate find.
