Up for sale is an antique oval cast iron cauldron. It has holes drilled in the bottom of it which, combined with some dirt remnants on the inner sides, leads to conclude that someone used this as a planter. The inside measurements are 21.25 inches long by 11.25 inches wide. It has four short feet on the bottom, and the top lip measures around 11 inches from the floor. It weighs around 24 pounds.
No chips, cracks or missing material. A little dusty and dirty, along with some light and scattered surface oxidation.Would make a great interior or exterior planter.
I have already packed this in a sturdy box cushioned by plenty of styrofoam sheets so it should make the trip to your home with no cracking or chipping.
