Available for your consideration is a Bradbury Family VS hand crank sewing machine. It has a serial number of X20561. According to my research, this was manufactured in approximately 1915.
The hand crank turns freely. The needle goes up and down. The feed dogs are working. The shuttle and bobbin are present. And it sews! This machine has a forward and reverse stitch.
