Antique Coal Miner\'s Pick: $14.99
Up for offer is an Antique Coal Miner\'s Pick. It is in EXCELLENT condition and is free from cracks, chips, and repairs. This pick was found in an old barn in the heart of the Moshannon Valley of central Pennsylvania. Before the advent of strip mining, the early miners would find a vein of coal and follow it underground. These mines were called \'Drift Mines\'. The working conditions were rough and confined, therefore, the equipment was a bit smaller. This pick measures about 13\" from tip to tip. One end of the pick has a point, while the other ended if flattened. There are two series of three dots on both sides of the pick. Please exam the photos and email any questions. This is a real nice piece of coal mining history and would look great in a cabin or man cave. Thanks for looking and be sure to check out my other sales. FREE SHIPPING INCLUDED!!!
