Antique Collapsible Baby Buggy, Late 1800s To Early 1900s, Chicago, EC Frady: $50.00
This is a very early collapsible baby buggy made by E.C. Frady Mfg out of Chicago. Made with metal, wood and leather. In fair condition, there are spots were the leather is dry, some surface corrosion in some spots. The wheels have some of the rubber missing. It folds easily and flat, rolls really well. I think it will clean up good, I could, but will leave for someone else. Some people like it to show its age. There is a wooden foot rest with the Mfg name, the word \"KNOX\" and says patent applied for. I researched E.C. Frady and did not come up with much. I found that he was involved with Knox automobiles.EC Frady lost a few family members in a Theatre fire in the early 1900s in Chicago and he murdered his wife in the 1920s while living in Florida. Overall really neat item for collection or to be displayed. I included pics with folded height, length and width as well as height when engaged for operation. Sold as is. I will try to answer questions to the best of my ability.
