Thissolid copper "Mash Tub" was found in Vermont and it's last use was in the 60's. Thi item is used.
The bottom still has the carbon burn marks.
The handles are cast iron.
The spout and the fill lid are bronze.
The pressure relief valve is identical to stills which used this during the prohibition era.
This relief valve is brass.
Capacity is approximately 10 gallons.
All seams are intact and there are no holes.
The front and both sidesare in great condition but there are a few dents in the back.
This stands 25 inches tall and 18 inches deep and 25 inches wide.
Please take a look at the other item that we have listed that came from the same estate. We have no idea if this was related to the production of alcohol but it sure seems like it. This is a two tiered tinlamp .
