This is an old French waffle iron.Made from cast iron so that it will retain heat and make superb waffles.This iron will produce big wafers. In very good condition: the inside is relatively clean and the outside too.It really is great fun making waffles with these old irons but they are great for decorating fireplaces too or hanging on a wall.These were very expensive items in their day and only a wealthy family could afford one.They were often given by the family as a wedding present.
