This desk has exquisitely carved shells accents on slant front and gorgeous serpentine drawer fronts. Two pullout \"stays\" support thefall front desk which reveals the fitted desk interior with divided spaces fordesk accessories. Fall front space is perfect for use as a writing desk orfor laptop! The upper bookcase has two adjustable/removable shelves~~shelves are 7\" deep~~~perfect for displaying antique collectibles and books. Glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. Original AWESOME brasshardware and two (2) original keys are included. Old locks can be finicky and are never guaranteed. Three (3) wide lower drawers for storage. Lovely cabriole style legs. Such a VERSATILE size~~~slim profile (only 18\" deep)~~~fits in smaller spaces. Beautiful rich oak patina. This piece is very high quality oak, sturdy and in very nice condition for its age.
