This is an Antique FuneralVelvet Funeral Cooling Board Drape . These wereusedlong long ago when Undertakers used to come to the deceased\'s home and prepare the body for viewing.The undertaker would use it over and over again on his housecalls. The drape is silver. The body would be placed on top of this on the cooling board. There would be ice under the cooling board to help keep the body from decomposing and smelling up the room. You are more than welcome to pick this item up in person, and I strongly suggest shipping insurance.
