This Antique Banjo Wall Clock is made by Gilbert, and was made in Winsted, Connecticut, USA. It is a Wind Up Clock, and has its Key with it. The Clock runs great, but as with a lot of clocks such as this, the springs get weak over the years, and they tend to loose time. This clock is no different, and loses approximately 2 minutes every 12 hours. When it is fully wound it loses less, but as the spring unwinds after a few days, it loses between 2 and 3 minutes in a 12 hour period. Simply open the glass door over the face of the clock, and move the minute hand forward a few minutes. The Clock is 28 1/2\" tall and the Clock Face is 6 1/2\" in diameter. The glass is gone over the picture on the bottom, and the piece of trim is missing from the frame around the picture, which can be seen in one or more of the photos. Despite it\'s few issues, this is a very rare clock. The model number is stamped into the wood on the back, also shown in a photo, 3708. Not many around with this number. A Wonderful piece for any collector. It\'s been hanging in my office, and running now for several weeks. It looks great, and I love the sound of it ticking away.
