Desired Cleveland Wax Grandma fortune teller in restored, mostly original condition. It is believed that less than 300 of these were produced between 1929-1932. She still works on nickles and works perfectly. This fortune teller arcade was originally at the Camden Amusemnt Park in Huntington, West Virginia. Underneath the table cloth is inscribed a gentlemans name and the name of his business as he had done some work on her over 30 years ago. His business was also located in Huntington, West Virginia. It was acquired by a collector in Ohio where it sat in storage for over 25 years. I acquired it from him at his estate sale and have restored it, while leaving as much originality as possible.
Grandma still has her original head, eyesand hands which were restored by National Jukebox Exchange. Her head is stamped #104. The base is original and stamped also while having been restored. Original glass, glass water decal, lights, and candle. The brass collars on the stand legs were custum made from a brass smith using one of the originals for copy.Back door is also original. Motor, table cloth and clothes are not original. Top marque is an exact copy of the original.
Possible delivery to the ChicagoCoin op show in April. Please inquire. Otherwise. local pick up by you or an shipping agent would be required. sale may end if grandma is sold locally first. Please ask questions.
