An antique figurine, presumably early to mid 1900s, by Bertram Wagner & Apel featuring a little boy with a fez playing a musical instrument to his dachshund pet. Hand painted in maroon and red, lavender pink and brown with carefully painted facial features, figurine is both rare and beautiful. There is general age wear and the finish has taken a milky look but this can be restored by the right parties. No chipping, hairlines or breakage. Wagner & Apel produced around the same time as Goebel did and it is unclear who influenced whom, but they are very similar in style, although W & A are much more rare today.Figurine weighs 4.4 oz. Dimensions roughly: 4.5\" x 4\" x 1 3/4\".

Shippingmethod is as given in the description and we make sure all our items areinsured at no extra cost to the buyer. However in rare cases, once the item isadequately packed the total weight can exceed the shipping fees paid by the buyerand if the difference is too great we will resort to a different shippingmethod to stay within the paid fee. This is for the benefit of both partiessince packing the item safely easily outweighs a quick delivery with lighterbut insufficient packing that might end with damaged items. It doesn’t happenvery often but it does happen, so please be patient and understand that we aregoing the extra mile to ensure a safe delivery.

Domestic purchases will be given a full refund by me as soon as Ireceive the photos. International buyers unfortunately have to apply for aclaim themselves and here is why: In the global shipping program the buyer paysa) me for shipping it to the base in Kentucky, USA and b) (via USPS)for shipping it internationally from there on. Any damages for global shippingare considered to be the responsibility of USPS on the international leg andonly the buyer can apply for a reimbursement for it since I never got paid forthat section of the travel and I am not eligible to apply and get paid on theirbehalf.
