Antique or vintage handmade violin body! It looks like really nice- handwork and workmanship. Was bought from an estate. The owners said it was made by their grandfather Nick Youngblood in the 1930\'s. No markings on it. The maple was said to be reclaimed from an old church and was very old wood when made in the 30\'s. You can see, what I would say, are plugged nail holes in the maple. There are some others he made bought together I am listing. These are beautiful and deserve to be finished or at least the wood used for a good purpose or to repair other violins / fiddles. I see a couple small cracks in the back, missing most of the one rib. Very nicely flamed maple back and sides. Beautiful! Two piece back and the figure in the wood really moves as you turn it. Not in playable condition, can be used for parts or repairs. Inlaid purfling looks very nice. Has four small corner blocks and fully lined. FOR parts, repair, and such. Very interesting piece. Sold AS-IS please check photos and offer accordingly.
