Antique piston activated Bb cornet made by Isaac Fiske of Worchester Mass.The bell reads, \"Isaac Fiske/Maker/Worchester Mass/Patented/Oct 30 1868/Nov 12 1867/Feb 11 1868\".Fiske was in business from 1842 until he sold to Conn in 1887.The cornet is brass.This cornet is in good condition with only a few dings. There is a small ding of the bell rim but doesn’t appear to be cracked. All valves work as do the slides. And the instrument plays!No case/mouthpiece or extra crooks.
This is a great example of a cornet from the post Civil War Era.
