Antique J C Higgins Leather Belt Fly Bait Fishing Tackle Box I think this is an old leather fishing tackle box. It is made to wear on the belt with metal hooks and is very thick leather. The back reads “J C Higgins 752 S”. It measures 6” x 3” x 2” and has a snap closure. Amazingly the leather, though discolored, is not dried out or cracking. This is from pre 1930\'s.
