Antique Lanston Monotype Adding Machine \"The Barrett\" c. 1912: $150.00
Antique Lanston Monotype \"The Barrett\" adding machine c. 1912. Measures about 8\" tall overall and the base is about 13\" x 9.5\". To see it working, check out my video HERE. It has a full keyboard, so it can be used to add and subtract, and it has a typewriter mechanism that is designed to print to ticker tape. The typewriter ribbon is broken and dry and needs to be replaced. The mechanism that advances the tape is missing a spring (see video). Two of the buttons are missing (One is the total button, although the total lever can still be operated without it, and the other is a toggle switch on the left. I don\'t know what it does, but the switch can still be moved without the button).Otherwise, condition is as seen in photos. Scratches, soling, fading, missing paint, rust, and other wear. Please take a look and feel free to ask any questions. Thanks!!! 105065
