This fabulous 1935 Mercedes Prima has been fully cleaned, oiled, waxed, fine-tuned and restored toits original like-new working condition. This is one of my collection gems and I need to let it go during my downsizing process.

Its serial # 101163 can be dated back to 1935, before the World War II according to typewriterdatabase.com. This 82-year-old machine is still in a very good shape and lookslike new except very few minor scratches, paint chips and worn marks fromnormal use. The original black lacquer is shining like a mirror.

Most of metal/chrome parts look spectacularly bright.

The logos/decals are still with its original golden, vivid tonesafter 82 years.

Black ribbon is in usable conditionand it comes with original metal spools.The typeface sample and ink condition is shown in the last photo.

This gorgeous Mercedes Prima is in a wonderfulworking condition and it can last another few decades without reaching its endof life. Keys move freely and carriage advances when you type. R.T. (back space) key works perfectly. The rubber platen (cylinder)/paper roller are in good shape. Paper release lever/ carriage release lever work fine. Paper feeds in evenly andsmoothly. Carriage return lever works fine. Rear marginal stops move freely. Shift/Shift Lock keys work fine. End-of-the-line bell dings.

This machine weights around 13.9 lbs. (6.3 Kg) and it will be well wrapped and packed to preventany damage during the transportation.
