This pretty blond mohair would fit a 8-9\" doll head. It may very well be human hair but it isnt coarse. So, thats why I also thought mohair. I cleaned it in non phosphate quilt soap and wrapped the locks to make sausage curls. So, its clean. It does have a \"packed away for years\" smell but not offensive in my opinion. The wig cap is very small, not an actual cap, so that the wig must be adhered the pate. The bangs are curled under to frame your dolls face. Very cute little wig.
