Up for sale is this antique Indian trade knife and sheath..
Came with a large Trade lot, some are saleed now10 1/4 inches long, blade is 5,5 inches, dark brown hardwood handle is held
by 3 brass HEAVY DUTY rivets
Sheath is slightly lighter in color leather ( hide ).There are symbols depicted on the sheath and those are:
inverted sw@stika, 2 insects of different kind, arrow and two stars.
Upper row - crossed arrows, war club., sun and the moon, and something else,
which I dont understand.
I will let the pictures do the talking.Condition is very good, knife has been sharpened, but still full for the most part.
Darkened, very slight surface rust, no pitting. It will clean up nicely, may be
oil it a little.Sheath is in good condition. Leather is soft and pliable , intact, somewhat discolored.
Upper row of symbols are loosing their original brightness you can see there are
Darker and lighter spots.Interesting Antique trade knife for collector.
