I have a beautiful pair of early pipe or steam fitters adjustable wheel lock pliers for your consideration. these are very heavy iron manufacture. I am pretty sure made in Stuttgart, Germany by a Mr. Schmidt. Marked. CHROM-BDAN. Quite a bit of Germanic language marks as well. These perhaps were used during the first world war and arrived in America soon there after with the heavy immigrant movement at that time. They needed the tools of their trade and brought what they could. These might even be pre World War I pipe fitting tools. Regardless they are a fine early example of Germanic tool making craftsmanship. There are a number of markings so please seesee pics closely for their historyand references. these are reusable although will need a cleaningand lube of the threaded wheel shafts. Jaws pivot nicely and are in good condition. These are in beautifuldisplay condition as is. No cracks or breaks. Some dings and a slight imperfection on the threaded rods consistent with their use and age.These are heavy so will be shipped large flat rate to the US for 18.00. Nearly 10 lbs.
