Up for offer is a nice antique Royal oil lamp base. The base measures approximately 6 inches long by 6 inches wide by 12 inches tall. I have not tested the lamp in any way because I don’t know how to, so it is being sold as is. I wouldn’t be surprised if it worked. Overall the lamp is in good condition. The top shade is no longer present, but the original shade support arms are still present. The support arms appear to be moderately bent along the centers and may need to be straightened. The exterior shows general moderate surface scratching, scuffing, tarnishing and wear throughout. The exterior is moderately dirty and dusty throughout. The exterior could use a good cleaning and polishing. There is a dent along the bottom center portion that is approximately ½ an inch in length. There is a minor crease in the metal just to the right of this dent that is also approximately ½ an inch in length. The small metal topper piece on the top of the unit shows moderate surface denting throughout, particularly along the edges. The small metal screen just below the shade support arm brackets shows several surface cracks towards the top in various places. The metal just below this screen also has a small surface crack (approximately ¼ of an inch). See pictures for a better idea of condition.
