Open handle at each of two ends of base, and spoon handle carve out on one side of lid. Measures 8-1/2\" tall (top of lid handle to bottom of base) x 14\" long (side handle end to side handle end) x 7-7/8\" wide at widest point. Marked on bottom, S.W. Dean, Burslem England, Royal Semi China, Marlborough.\" This is a used piece and has several significant flaws. 1/2\" hairline crack on base at one end, beginning at top rim. 3 small chips on top rim, and four shallow 1/8\" chips on outside rim of lid. Six pit mark chips inside base. Many small \"pepper marks\" and blue glaze run marks of discoloration inside and out. Visible crazing across bottom side of base. Many prominent scuff marks and scratches/utensil marks inside and out, top and bottom, consistent with age and heavy use, and heavy scuffing and discoloration to bottom side bottom ring rim of footed base and bottom inner rim of lid.
