Antique Signed Handel Bronzed Pineapple SignedReverse Painted Shade Lamp #938This is absolutely a stunning early 20th century completely original desk/boudoir lamp by Handel Lamp Co. The base is bronzed, it is art deco with basrelief diamond/ honey comb panels. It looks like pineapple. The bottom isoriginal green felt, has Handel Lamp Co. label. The shade has petticoat shape,it has scenic reverse painting, which is stunning. It is signed Handle numbered938 as shown. The cord is fabric covered original cord in decent shape butshows its age as expected. The cap and finial is not signed, they fitperfectly, look to be original to this lamp. As shown it works just fine. Thebase has 5.25\" diameter, about 8\" tall without the socket. The shadehas 11\" diameter, 5\" tall, lamp is about 16\" tall. As you cansee the lamp is in very good condition without any major damage. I see few pinpoint size missing finish on the base, you will notice them if you examine the basevery very close. The shade is lovely in fine shape, no chips, cracks or repairon it. I see one 0.5\" scratch on the painting.
