Antique Photo AlbumThis sale is for probably the most amazing and interesting photo album I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. The rare album comes from a family who lived in Red Wing, Minnesota back in the 1910s but it looks like the album is from a family in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. His name was Henri Prinz and he fought in World War I – his dog tags and war photos are included! On the inside there are amazing photos of his family who traveled around and performed what looks like a western themed show and a cabaret type show. There’s also photos from a Freak Show including a man with no arms and a woman who worked with snakes (among other people). He took photos of the tent they used every so often and there are some great scenes here. Including, famous performers some with autographs, images from around Red Wing, MN, several photos of people holding the Billboard magazine, like they were features inside, photos of the troupe hanging posters, a rare set of photos depicting the tornado damage at Roseau, Minnesota and the damage it caused to a merry go round, a rare group of photos from the Standing Rock Indian Reservation at Fort Yates, North Dakota – looks like they put on quite the show, a great image of the entrance of the Girl of the Plains show with Alkali Pete and Indian Warefare, a Pullman car they traveled around in, and much more! Just an amazing piece and guaranteed authentic. Some really creepy, American Horror type stuff inside. Just the images of the Sioux Indians are priceless, but then add the freak show and performs – just amazing! There are about 200 photos here, so it’s a nice, large album. In great condition but most of the photos are glued on to the pages. Book measures about 11" x 8½". Guaranteed authentic and old! See more Photos below!
