Beautiful spool Jenny Lind style rope bed converted to a bench love seat

I purchased this in the late 1990s and it was presented to me as a rope bed from the 1800s, that is all the information I have
Has some scratching, we used it as dining seating at the table so it was used everyday
Solid and quite heavy, is not rickety
50 1/2 inches long
45 1/2 inches tall from bottom to top of spool
21 inches deep from front to back
covered seat is notpermanentlyattached and can easily be recovered in fabric of your choice
