Beautiful antique T. Furnival and Sons Wild Chrysanthemum pattern tureen with lid. The bottom is marked with the Furnival name and pattern. There is a number in red on the bottom, and there is a number on the bottom side of the lid. This was made in about 1890.
Pretty pink chrysanthemum flowers with yellow gold centers grace thewhite dish, gold embellishes the embossed semi china. The bowl is heavy, built to handle the heat of whatever you are serving, be it mashed potatoes, warm vegetables,soups, or stews.
It is a good 12 inches from handle to handle, and about 7 inches or so tall. There is no ladle.
This will be the \'elegant lady\' of your dining table!
