Wonderful wrought iron TABLE with a Antique Victorian MINTON TILE set into the center. This tile is a \"Rustic Black ~ Art Tile\"made in Stoke On Trent, England and designed by: William Wise. I believe a seriesshowing differentAnimal Scenes were made by this Artist...each tile can sell for $100. or more. Great scenic tile in Black & Cream showing aBARNYARD scene of PIGS & a COW. The tile is marked on the underside in raised letters: MINTONS CHINA WORKS, STOKE ON TRENT. The # 12 is written in pencil. This TILE is set almost flush-level onto a round metal table top standing on 3 wrought iron legs. The legs havea turned ~ twisted shape, with upward hookshaped feet. The photos show the attachedmetal box on the underside of the table topin which the tile is set, the 3 legs have been permanently soldered onto this box. The table, box & legs are painted black. Size: the table top is 12\" in diameter and the table is 22\" tall. Size of the tile is 5\" highx 6\" wide. Condition of the tile is good, with no cracksthere isall over tight old age crazing~ the paint isflaking where the tile edge meets the metal table top ( I don\'t know if the tileedge was ever grouted or just painted blackon all 4side edgeswhere it meets the table top). The table is in good condition & very stable. This table top does not tilt or move ~ it is in a solid fixed position. I do not know the age of the table.
