American Cuckoo Clock Companyimported cuckoo clocks and partsfrom the Black Forest in Germany from 1885-1945.

Clock is in great condition for age. It is hand made/stained/carved. Original label is in tact and on the rear cover AND legible, but does have some staining/aging. The top crown was broken/cracked, but has been repaired and hard to notice unless you look closely. One of the two inside bellows (cuckoo whistle) leather was torn inside and removed, still has one. I was going to repair it/buy a new one but haven\'t gotten around to it. See photos...

Clock chimes/cuckoos on the 1/2 hour and hour, and cuckoo\'s proper # of hour.

Clock measures 17\" tall (24\" with pendulum) by 13 1/2\" wide by 7 3/4\" deep.

Clock runs strong and keeps good time. Runs for about a day before needing wound.

Movement is stamped Germany and is lyre shaped. Clocks of this quality/age/condition are becoming harder and harder to find.

Similar clocks sell for $600-800 on sites or stores.
