This beautifulmama doll is the size of a toddler!! I\'ve always referred to her as \"Lily\". She measure 24\" tall and she looks like a real little girlwhom I know, named Lily. Expressivechild\'sfacewith what I believe to be, a human hair wig, which could definitely use some help. It\'stangled and matted and sparse in some areas...I pulled it back with a ribbon to show off those wonderful dimples. See photos. Her wig is lifting slightly at the base of her neck. I always meant to find her a slip, bloomers and shoes...but, alas I never got around to it. She came to me several years ago in this very dress, that she has on...it\'s darling and fits her perfectly...I\'m assuming it\'s original to her. The fabric feels stiff and crisp. She\'s had light re-paint done to her eye brows and lips...old and donelong ago ...as it appears to be fading on her lips. Her real hair eyelashes are still intact...although a bit sparser on one eye.
Her head swivels on a flanged ball socket, up/down sideways etc. Signs of a quality maker although she\'s unbranded. Big brown glassine eyes, they areblown and crackled. Very, verynice composition to this old doll!!~~ I see one small fine craze line on her left cheek ( hard to see ) and one on the inside of her left arm.
Her cloth body is nice and clean. Crier is silent. She has no odors and comes from my non smoking home.
As with all my dolls...they are antiques and are not as pristine as the day they were born, may have lumps, bumps and bruises and scars. I will always try to describe them accurately and provide many photos for you to supersize to see all details.
