I hope you like what you see - I specialise in original vintage bears in the best possible condition, so the more discerning collectors can source genuine old bears that they will be proud to own.
I have been working with bears for 40 years now, so any purchase you make from me can be done with the greatest of confidence - I have many very happy customers, many of whom are repeat buyers who appreciate the quality and integrity in my listings!
I particularly specialise in Steiff Chiltern bears and musical bears but I also have other bears when I find examples of the required quality.

Thisis a stunning all original, antique German Steiff mohair Teddy Bear, with silver script button in ear in excellent, clean condition, dating back to the 1950\'s.
He is looking for a new family to love him now that he has lost his original owner after many years.
This is an exceptionally handsome bear, measuring 17 inches standing, 13 inches in seated position and is in excellent clean condition throughout - please see photos.He comes from a pet free, smoke free home.
Teddy has his original silver raised script Steiff button in his ear (see picture), which dateshim to the 1950\'s and he is guaranteed 100% Steiff.He is made from a really nice top quality grade of mohair slightly longer than the short haired Steiff bears - it is quite thick andwavy - he is a stunningtoffeecaramel colour,he has 99% mohair coverage.
Teddy is fully jointed - all his joints are in good working order - there are no loose ones so he sits perfectly - there are no rips or tears to his mohair fabric .
He has the most endearing original brown glass eyes and his embroidered nose is also original.
His paw and foot pads are all original and in good condition with just slight wear but this does not take anything away from this wonderful bear.
He is a superb example of a 1950\'s Steiff bear in excellent, clean condition and you can buy with confidence - he is a wonderful old Teddy with bags of character looking for a new home!
