Antique Vintage R Bliss 32\" Wood Wooden Carpenter Bar Clamps Pawtucket RI 

R. Bliss Manufacturing Co. existed in Pawtucket RI from about 1874 until 1935 (see http://theclampguy.info/hist_bl.htm), so these clamps, which are marked as such, would be from sometime in that era.  At this point, at least 80 years old.

They are 42\" long overall and are about 32\" between the jaws.  In overall good condition, with some amount of damage from years of use.  There is a large chip missing out of the back side of one of the sliding jaws (see photo) and one of the screws has some chipping to the spiral thread.  Screws will need some wax or other TLC for them to work smoothly, but the do turn.

All in all, these are a very nice item for a collection of vintage tools.
