* Bohmann moved from Markneukirchen to work in Chicago, where he made instruments, imported instruments, and peeled labels off nice instruments and replaced them with his own. He also boasted about his accolades, as evidenced by his label \"the World\'s Greatest Musical Instrument\". Please carefully examine photos as they are the biggest part of the description. Top plate is precarious. However the choice of tone woods is exceptional. Plates are worn on the sides. Purfling inlaid, blocked and lined- that\'s what is seen through f-holes. Sound post is standing it may shift during the shipment.Ask questions or more photos before offer or purchase. I prefer informed Buyer. I do not alter my photos. It could be some issues that I am not aware of please ask for photos if any need to see specific area. Very intriguing old violin. Please bear in mind that this violin for restorers or luthiers who have the ability to work on it. Once repaired it will be a nice instrument.
