Antique vtg 1930s non formal wedding or evening dress, MElevated waistline, padded shoulders, willowy silhouette: all those features are present in the non formal wedding dress of Duchess of Windsor (last photo).This elegant dress could be evening or wedding: the color is slightly off-white--egg shell. The fabric texture plays an important role in this dress look: made of an unusual period rayon, crepe texture gives the fabric almost “alabaster” sculptural look. The fabric stretches nicely, the dress follows your lines, hugging the waist and hips. The vertical skirt slit allows you to walk freely. Slightly raised waistline. Asymmetrical peplum in front. Shoulder pads. Rooching at the shoulders and at the waistline.
Metal zipper on the side.
P.S. This dress is much better \"in person\" than on my pictures.
Condition: Excellent.
No stains, no holes, no pinholes, no fabric weakness. Flawless underarm and nape areas.The thread on the tip of V-shaped neck opening is loose, needs fastening.
Freshly dry cleaned and ready to go out.
